The release of Mohanakrishna Indraganti’s highly anticipated family comedy entertainer, Sarangapani Jathakam, has been postponed. Initially scheduled to hit theaters on December 20, 2024, the movie’s new release date is yet to be finalized. According to sources, the film is now eyeing a release on either December 31, 2024, or in the third week of January 2025.
The film features a stellar ensemble cast including Priyadarshi, Roopa Koduvayur, VK Naresh, Tanikella Bharani, Avasarala Srinivas, Vennela Kishore, and Viva Harsha, among others.
On the technical front, the movie is written and directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the prestigious banner of Sridevi Movies. The music is composed by Vivek Sagar, whose two released songs have already received positive responses and created significant buzz.
Mohanakrishna Indraganti has revealed that Sarangapani Jathakam is inspired by a blend of literary works, particularly Ashta Chamma and Amithu. The movie is a family entertainer, packed with comedy sequences led by seasoned actors like Vennela Kishore, Tanikella Bharani, and Naresh VK.
The film has been produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the Sridevi Movies banner, with music composed by Vivek Sagar. Two songs from the movie have already been released, both of which have received positive responses, creating a buzz alongside the teaser.
