Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran, who played the menacing Vardha Raja Mannar in Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, has provided a key update on the much-anticipated sequel.
During a recent media interaction, Prithviraj revealed that the shooting for Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam will commence only after Prashanth Neel completes his film with NTR (NTR31). This confirms that the wait for the second installment in Prashanth Neel’s action-packed saga is still on.
When asked about his rumored involvement in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film, SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj clarified that nothing has been confirmed yet, putting an end to speculation about his presence in these massive projects.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s directorial venture L2: Empuraan, the highly anticipated sequel to Lucifer, is set for a global release on March 27, 2025. Starring Mohanlal in the lead, with Prithviraj in a pivotal role, the film promises to be an intense political thriller, making it one of the most awaited Malayalam films.
With Raja Saab, Fauji, Spirit, Kalki 2898 AD Sequel, and Salaar 2 lined up for Prabhas, fans are eagerly awaiting official updates on the sequel’s progress.
